Synopsis : Les 4 heures de ce show rassemblent un bon nombre d’artistes tels Johnny Cash et June Carter Cash, Lou Reed, The Clancy Brothers, Ritchie Havens, Johnny Winter, Roger McGuinn, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Chrissie Hynde, The O’Jays, Eddie Vedder, Sinéad O’Connor, Tracy Chapman, George Harrison (qui réalise ici son premier concert Américain après 18 ans d’absence) et bien d’autres encore. Pour l’anecdote, ce concert eu lieu en octobre 1992 au Madison Square Garden afi n de célébrer le 30ème anniversaire des premiers enregistrements de Bob Dylan avec le label Columbia sur lesquels des icônes de la musique rendent hommage au grand Zim’. Le concert fut diffusé en direct partout dans le monde et fut disponible en VHS et sur 2CD dès 1993. Tous ces artistes apportent un soutien musical tout au long du spectacle constituant ainsi une véritable dream team à laquelle se greffe trois membres des Booker T. & The M.G.’s, avec G.E. Smith et Jim Keltner à la guitare suivis de Anton Fig à la batterie.
